Robin and Alice Grow Closer on "Once Upon a Time" As Henry Considers Leaving Town

Andrew J. West in "Once Upon a Time." ABC

The "Breadcrumbs" episode of Once Upon a Time is a big one for Henry, star Andrew J. West told TVLine as the Hyperion Heights resident mulls over a job offer that would take him away from wife and daughter Jacinda (Dania Ramirez) and Lucy (Allison Fernandez) — though the curse has complicated their relationship, since he still doesn't know its true — and all the way to New York City.

Per the official episode description, however, a revelation in the Candy Killer case will also make it difficult to leave Seattle.

“Some crazy stuff happens in Henry’s personal life, involving Jacinda and Lucy as well, that will have ramifications for the potential of this new job offer,” West told TVLine. “Henry is going to have a big choice in front of him as far as which route he wants to take.”

Plus, Weaver (Robert Carlyle) will come back into Henry's life to help him with something, West teases, and flashbacks will show some sweet moments from Henry and Cinderella's courtship.

“We’ll see some of the things that Henry does during the courting phase,” West told the site. “It kind of deals with Henry’s personal struggle and feeling that maybe he doesn’t quite ‘measure up’ for Cinderella, that maybe he’s not worthy of her, so he goes on a journey to find that worthiness in himself to work up the courage to profess his love to her and get that relationship going. ...It’s a relatable struggle that we see him go through, and it turns into a bit of an adventure, that Hook facilitates. It’s fun to see those two guys go on a bit of an adventure together.”

While Henry deals with those issues, the relationship between Margot/Robin (Tiera Skovbye) and Tilly/Alice (Rose Reynolds) will heat up. Skovbye told TVLine that Margot will make the first move.

“I take her to some of my favorite places, and she takes me to some of hers…. It’s really sweet, and kind of awkward, and so cute!”

While the two lovebirds go on a series of dates, Margot will also seek advice from Tilly about dealing with her mother after three years apart.

"I’ve come back to try to rebuild our relationship, but I can tell she’s hiding some things from me — obviously! And that’s frustrating," the actress added. "I’m like, ‘You need to tell me whats going on!'”

Once Upon a Time airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
