It's time to say goodbye to "Gotham"! Fox

Gotham officially ends its five year run today as the series finale airs on Fox at 8 p.m. The end of Gotham means the beginning of Batman, but it also means having to say goodbye to all these newer versions of classic characters we've been following for five seasons and we're so not ready! 

However, that doesn't mean your love of good comic book and noir TV has to end! Here are 15 other shows that TV Time users that love Gotham are watching. Start bingeing now!

15. Defiance

It's the middle of the 21st century and there are new rules and a completely altered landscape on Earth after three decades of alien races arriving on the planet. Mysterious Nolan and his charge, Irisa, come to the town of Defiance, located atop the ruins of what was St. Louis, in an attempt to keep things in order as humans and aliens try to coexist. 

14. Preacher

Fulfilling a promise to his deceased father, one-time outlaw Jesse Custer returns home to West Texas to take over his dad's church. Jesse's mission, however, becomes twisted when his body is overcome by a cryptic force that unleashes within him a highly unconventional power. Together with hell-raising ex-girlfriend Tulip and Irish vagabond Cassidy, the preacher-in-training embarks on a journey to find God in a world inhabited by holy, hellish, and everything-in-between characters.

Join the teenage superheroes as they save the world as well as deal with normal daily life issues. Based on the comics, this animated series comes from the same company as Gotham!

12. Dark Matter

When crew members working on a derelict spaceship awaken from stasis, they have no memory of who they are or how they got onto the vessel. The only clues to their identities are weaponry and a destination -- a remote mining colony soon to become a war zone. They must band together to fight off the threats they face on a voyage filled with vengeance, betrayal and secrets that make survival a question mark for all on board the ship. 

11. Black Lightning

The CW's DC Comics universe expands with this exploration of the intersection between family life and being a superhero. As a younger man, Jefferson Pierce donned the suit of a vigilante and protected the streets of his city, but he believed he'd left those days in the past. He learns that life doesn't always work out as planned when his daughter, Jennifer -- a star student who is determined to achieve justice at any cost -- gets recruited by a street gang. In order to protect his family, Jefferson sees no choice but to once again become Black Lightning.

10. Heroes Reborn

The reboot of the Heroes world where extraordinary powers up the ante in the eternal battle of good and evil. A year after being blamed for a terrorist attack that decimated Odessa, Texas, people with abilities are either hiding or trying to avoid those with nefarious motives. Two vigilantes, Luke and Joanne, are determined to avenge a tragic loss, and Noah Bennet has gone off the grid -- until a conspiracy theorist finds him and reveals the truth behind the tragedy in Texas. Other extraordinary people from the past cross paths with new heroes, all of whom share the same destiny: to save the world.

9. From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series

Bank robber Seth Gecko and his violent brother, Richie, are on the run -- a robbery gone bad left several people dead -- and the FBI and Texas Rangers are in pursuit. As they head for Mexico, the brothers meet the Fuller family heading the same way. They take the family hostage and continue the trip in the Fullers' RV. Chaos breaks out when they stop at a bar to meet the cartel king who offered them shelter. The bar is home to vampires and becomes the scene of another fight in a reimagining of a 1996 movie by the same title, created by Robert Rodriguez, who brought that version to the big screen. This time it's for his channel, El Rey.

8. Into the Badlands

Ruthless, prodigiously skilled warrior Sunny mentors teenage boy M.K. during a spiritual journey across a feudal civilization known as the Badlands. With the help of trained assassins like Sunny, the area is ruled by rival barons, and for decades Quinn has consistently outflanked and outmaneuvered his fellow barons to keep the upper hand. His invincibility, however, begins to fade in light of brazen attacks by the newest baron, The Widow, who believes M.K. is the key to her success. As the battle for control of the Badlands heats up, the destinies of the stoic assassin and the impetuous teenager become intertwined.

7. Almost Human

In 2048, police officer John Kennex wakes up from a 17-month coma without his girlfriend, his partner -- and without one of his legs. While Kennex survived a catastrophic attack on the police department, his partner, relationship and one limb did not. Now outfitted with highly sophisticated synthetic appendage -- along with depression, trauma on-set OCD and PTSD -- Kennex is persuaded to come back to work by longtime ally Capt. Sandra Maldonado. As all cops are required to work with a robot, Kennex must overcome his aversion to androids and get accustomed to his new partner: a discontinued android with unexpected emotional responses.

After a military coup splinters the family, the group -- which includes Black Bolt's wife, Medusa; his brother and rival, Maximus; his cousins Karnak, Gorgon and Triton; and Medusa's sister, Crystal -- barely manages to escape to Hawaii, where surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

4. Powerless

Emily lands her dream job as director of research and development for Wayne Security in Charm City, home to superheroes, super villains and everyday citizens fed up with the collateral damage of their constant super fighting. Full of confidence and big ideas about how to make life safer for the populace, Emily quickly learns that her aspirations far exceed those of her new boss and officemates, so it is up to her to lead the team toward its full potential and the realization that you don't need superpowers to be a hero.

3. Dominion

This post-apocalyptic drama takes place in the year 25 A.E., when an army of lower angels has waged war against mankind. Coming out of the 25-year-long battle are newly fortified cities that protect humans who survived the war. The largest of the cities -- Vega, formerly Las Vegas -- sees two houses vying for control, as political upheaval and a shift in power are on the horizon. Alex, a soldier helping protect Vega's aristocracy, is watched over by archangel Michael, the only angel to turn against his kind and side with humans during the Extermination War. Alex has a secret relationship with Claire, daughter of the Lord of the City, who wants her to marry someone else to help move the city past the caste system.

2. Krypton

Years before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel's home planet, Superman's grandfather, Seg-El, fights to redeem his family's honor after the House of El is ostracized and shamed over Seg's grandfather's false claims of a world-killer coming to Krypton. When an attack on the government is attempted, Seg seizes an opportunity to advance himself and his family by allying with those who sentenced his grandfather to execution and destroyed his family's name but when evidence that his grandfather's claims were true is discovered, Seg must work within the system that discarded the House of El in order to protect their future legacy.

1. Constantine

Demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine figured there was no longer any point in fighting the good fight since his soul belongs to the netherworld, but when demons target the daughter of one of his closest friends, Liv, he reluctantly rejoins the battle. It turns out that Liv has second sight, an ability to see other worlds and predict supernatural occurrences, a power that makes her a threat to the new evil rising from the shadows. She and Constantine take their combined skills on the road, traveling the country to find demons and send them back to hell.
