A few kilometers from Paris, on the other side of the northern ring road, stands a ghetto city, with innumerable facades of bars of dilapidated buildings on which the concrete is bursting everywhere and the iron is rusting. A multiracial society has taken root there for a long time, while most of the native French families have deserted it. In tower 216, lives the "model" family, of Algerian origin, the "Bouamazza". Our heroine, Aïcha, 25, their eldest daughter, is held up as an example by the whole city. But Aïcha can no longer bear the weight of the community group: she wants to stand on her own two feet, conquer her independence and cross the Rubicon.
