When the baby Digimon start to cry, T.K. and Patamon find themselves confronted by Primary Town's protector Elecmon. Mistaking them for threats, Elecmon attacks Patamon in a fight that causes the baby Digimon to cry more before T.K. proposes that a peaceful solution with a tug-o-war match. Patamon wins and earns Elecmon's respect and trust as he allows him and T.K. to stay in Primary Town. Meanwhile, considering the child a threat, Devimon sends Leomon after T.K.
