He borrows his tools back from his next-door neighbor, Brutus, and starts in. Brutus sneakily changes the property line fence, and Popeye unknowingly builds most of the pool in Brutus' yard. Olive and Wimpy keep dropping in to check the pool progress. When the pool is finally completed, Brutus discloses the pool is in his yard, and after a fight between Popeye and Brutus, Brutus is forced to dig a hole in Popeye's backyard and put the pool back.
