Through him they begin to gather nuclear rods from power station and stockpile them in an isolated mine. Meanwhile, the Mysterons have also recreated a few Russian pilots who are en route to Skybase. Using the Russians in their vampires fighters, they attack Skybase, but are intercepted and destroyed be the Angels. Captain Scarlet and Blue are dispatched to locate the missing nuclear rods at a mine. When they arrive there, they run into Captain Black. He starts the count down for the detonation that will blow the world in half. Scarlet and Blue chase Black to stop the count down, then they are chased by a Russian Drusnik tank. The tank drives over a lake and falls through the ice, along with Black and another Mystron agent. The remote control is destroyed and the nuclear disaster is averted.
