They bring their discovery to Nalappat’s bar, where Sid consumes the mysterious liquid in the bottle and is granted the ability to speak fluid French, much to the delight of his wife, Emily. The canyonites gather around and read the diary, which details the adventures of ‘Robin Banks’ and what appears to be cannibalism between him and his companions. Norm realizes that his gifts are not exactly being used for their intended purpose, and just when they appear to be on the brink of escape, the canyonites are foiled by a rogue boulder set in motion by the antics of Butch and Sly.
