The happiness doesn't stay for long. Police come to catch Sang Man for fraud. During his attempt to run away he gets into an accident and dies. Because of his fraud the rest of the family is forced to move from their house to a small rooftop place. This brings back Jin Joo and Hyeon Seok's anger at Joon Soo and his father. Sun Hye is working hard at the market while taking care of baby Na Ri until she breaks down because of her weak heart. Seing his stepmother's hardship Joon Soo decides to leace the family and goes to Choo Man Dol, his father's friend with whom he stayed when his father was in jail.
