The Folk Music Festivals In the winter, spring, summer, autumn and Christmas festivals of folk music, Carmen Nebel (1994-2003) and Florian Silbereisen (since 2004) present the stars of the folk music live for around two hours folk music. The spectators get to know the seasonal festivals and the customs of German landscapes. The programs are produced as public events, in lavish sets that suit the season. As an annual highlight, the “Crown of Folk Music” is awarded in the January broadcast.
