Edna is the mother of Digão, the policeman who killed the child. Seeking justice and redemption, both will face police corruption and the sluggishness of the justice system. Rita will have the support of her eldest son, the plastic artist Sinistro, who, together with the Maré community, will fight for justice for Sushi.
