Julie tells Chris that she did not return to be with him but to give Christina back to Lucy. Chris realizes Julie's dying and she tells him to move on and find love again. Ian asks Eve to have faith in him again. Rafe and Alison have a difficult time saying good-bye, but as the clock strikes midnight, he disappears and returns to Heaven. Alison realizes Rafe accomplished his mission when she sees all the reunited couples together again at the Christmas party.
