Más Sarah discovers that Matthew had a go at Jimmy about his reading and wants to make it up to him. Jimmy tells her of the pretences he has made in his life because he cannot read - he is ashamed of it. Alex had made him realise that if he really wanted to learn there were people there to help, so that's why he's now signed up at an adult literacy centre. He feels that Sarah betrayed his trust when she went out mouthing about Jimmy and her achievements.
