A friend of Dorothy Parker and Dashiell Hammett , of Eisenstein, Hemingway and Scott Fitzgerald , LILLIAN HELLMAN has fought, drunk and celebrated with many show business and literary personalities. At 72 she is still as formidable, angry, tender, witty and tough as she has always been. Including extracts from some of her plays.
