In his father’s family, Kurt seeks to sort fact from fiction about his larger than life grandfather Harry, who left England at the tender age of 17. Kurt begins his investigation with his great grandfather Charles’ World War One medals, which lead him to discover Charles suffered a gunshot wound to the face during the disastrous Battle of the Somme.
