Fuku, who saw Gou scolding Takechiyo for causing a commotion over Tokugawa's victory, tells Gou that it was Hidetada who ordered to kill Yodo. Hidetada, who was questioned by Gou after returning to Edo, sheds into tears and vows to Gou that no more blood will be shed for the sake of building a peaceful nation. Meanwhile, Jokoin tries to intercede with Gou for Takechiyo, which however, triggers a new problem.
