Inside is none other than the missing half of Zack's infamous Malusword. Sensing its awakening, Zack flies to the Dragon Fortress to retrieve it; however, desperate to learn his real motives, Jet takes the blade and challenges him to a battle. When the two halves of the Malusword come together, unexpected things begin to befall Jet.
