When treating a young patient, there is a dispute with sister Hanna. Betty wants to use the time without Oliver to sort her feelings. But as Dr. Star learns of Oliver's departure, he realizes a real chance for Betty and himself and starts a rapprochement. At the same time Dr. Stern and Betty the novelist Sabine Maus, who can no longer move the fingers of her right hand. The patient is shocked when Dr. Stern diagnoses the carpal tunnel syndrome and recommends surgery. Finally, she has to finish her new book as soon as possible and is also very afraid of injections. Hanna and Dr. Meanwhile, Meinhardt continue to disagree over the correct handling of the 17-year-old Lydia Kampatz, who comes because of acute dizziness in the Karlsklinik. It quickly turns out that dizziness is triggered by her high blood pressure. Hanna believes that the wrong motives are behind the surgery and wants to dissuade Lydia from the surgery. Until Dr. Meinhardt forbids her interference in the private lives of patients.
