Lan Fei is a fashionable, cheerful, "multi-functional" housewife. She has a loving architect husband and an intelligent and lively son. She also has two close friends: the career-oriented Ma Si-leui and the beautiful, wealthy wife Man Fung-wa. The three ladies have very different characters and views on love, and have experienced different bumps in their love lives. When Lan Fei discovers her husband has cheated on her, their marriage falls apart and he moves out of their apartment. To help pay for the mortgage, she rents out a room and meets the tall, handsome, and rich Wing Ho-tin in the process.
