The show focuses on Emil and Eleanor - a brother and sister who've just arrived at Israel as illegal migrants and meet a cohesive group of "zabar" kids. They don't get along at first due to their differences, but later they connect, train and fight together in order to build the new country against common and life threatening dangers. The show combines historical events which occurred during only two months of the year 1946, when all of the underground organizations united to one fighting movement, the hebrew rebellion movement and performed acts such as the night of bridges, Amiram Shohat, and the Black Saturday night. Along these events, the show features the people who built Israel: Yizhak Rabin, Yitzhak Shamir, Moshe Dayan, Menahem Begin, General Montegomery, Leah Goldberg and Young Shoshana Damary.
