They head to Stjärnberg, where they are welcomed by the commune, led by the charismatic Petrus. Johan accompanies the Finnish woman, Ylja, to Norway, while his family searches for him around Svartvattnet. It is 1991 and Annie's daughter Mia is now in a relationship with Johan. Together with Birger, they start looking for the missing Annie.
