Soledad Méndez is a con artist who plans how to snatch the fortune of American businessman Harvey Slater. To accomplish that, she hires several random people to form a fake family, making Slater believe that in his childhood he had been given up for adoption and that they are his biological family. The series focus on the conflicts within the fake family and how, as time goes by, the members discover that they are involved in a fraud.
