Jiang Jia Qi, approaching the age of forty, is facing a deteriorating marital relationship as his wife cheated on him with her boss. Simultaneously, he is experiencing targeted hostility and suppression in the workplace. At the same time, he becomes entangled with his subordinate, Liang Zhi An, in a bribery case.
