They join in, but once discovered that the play will be presented in front of the entire neighborhood, Jonas fakes a sore throat, and a stubbed toe. Wimzie finds out that Jonas is faking because he's afraid he'll mess up the play because his cousin called him a clutz. Wimzie is sworn in not to tell anyone about Jonas's false illness. Yaya eventually finds out, and encourage Jonas to imagine that everyone in the audience is his friends. Jonas does, and makes it through the play with no trouble at all.
