The hospital in Bor still operates after 20 years. Primary Blažej has been married for a long time to Ina, a former nurse in orthopedics, and all the time he is faithfully supported in the hospital by Dr. Alžbeta Čeňková, for whom work is the only purpose of life. Sister Pěnkavová and her husband embark on a risky business plan to build swimming pools and put all their money into it. Eliška, the daughter of the primary Dana Královová, falls in love with Hynek Klobouk, a young confused from the operating room, and is afraid of her mother's reaction, because Hynka is not in love twice. We are also getting acquainted with new faces - the sympathetic doctor Machovcová is prescribing in psychiatry, whose husband is an unsuccessful orthopedic doctor and she wants to become a primary care physician.
