At the castle, Gou sees a little boy accompanied by Hideyoshi's mother Naka. At the meeting, Hideyoshi declares that Sanboshi, the little boy who is the son and heir of Nobutada, is the most eligible successor, brushing off Katsuie's assertion to make Nobutaka, Nobunaga's third son, the successor.
