On the first day, he fights with his son in law, and his daughter won't let him do anything to help around the house. He decides to go live with his pal Wally. While he is waiting for the bus, he meets Colin, a young tearaway who asks a lot of questions about his stuffed parrot. Tommy gets to Wally's and finds there is no room for him, so he sneaks back into his daughters house before they know he is gone. ** Same story as the pilot, and a few of the actors have been changed.
