The show has two single parents, with three kids each, sharing a house. A widower, Deepak Malhotra and his three kids, Rahul, Rashmi, Guddu live in a beach house which they share with another family- the Potias. The Potia family consists of widow, Shalini Potia and her three children Bharti, Tufan, Dheer. The two families often spar over sharing house space which leads to funny situations. Later Shalini and Deepak fall in love and get together, while the six kids have comical fights.
