It's the story of a humble family "Los Reyes" (The Kings) and Edilberto "Beto" Reyes (King), the head of the family, who suddenly becomes the president of a multinational company. This happens after he prevents the suicide of Doña Mercedes, the president and owner of the GER Group, an elderly woman who supposedly suffers from a terminal illness. Beto shows the woman his daily life and his people while she recovers. As a gesture of gratitude, the executive leaves him in charge of her company while she travels to France for treatment. This is how the Reyes family moves from their humble home to the luxurious mansion of Mercedes Rubio, who is also neighbors with the Iriartes, a wealthy family who only cares about wealth. At that moment, a series of events, both tragic and comedic, will begin to unfold, bringing more than one headache to Beto and his entire family.
