The Rangers discover the Kelzaks planting strange seeds, along with a monster called Florabundacus. Cam's father refuses to let him bring the seeds to botanist Dr. Belrab. Sensei had promised his late wife that he would keep their son out of harm's way and not let him become a ninja. Cam goes anyway and ends up smack dab in the middle of a plot by Lothor's minions to wrap the city in Florabundacus' roots and vines.
