Kaita helped defeated Renz and brought him to safety, Yutaro ran into the flames and grabbed a sample of the divine medicine, Sanosuke ran in and grabbed Yutaro out. The divine medicine was burned down and everyone got out except for Melder, Professor Hans recovered thanks to the medicine and received a report saying that the Black Knights have handed themselves over and the remaining Black Knights will be looked closely. Later on, Professor Hans and Yutaro are about to leave and Kenshin and the rest see them off.
