Di più Pat Gregory, an old friend of Nat Delane, takes up a teaching post at Hartley, but soon runs into trouble with Lee who is still having difficulty fitting in. Taking advantage of the rumoured trade in black market car parts in the schoolyard, Lee orchestrates an elaborate scheme to discredit Gregory. Ryan and Sarah's romance hits a snag when he wants to take her to the opening of a new dance club. Sure she's the only person incapable of dancing, Sarah agrees to some lessons from D'espo but when Ryan walks in on them, he jumps to the wrong conclusion. Kurt takes the rap for Nikki and Anita when he finds them vandalising a controversial advertisement. Di rewards Kurt's apparent altruistism by naming him the school's representative to a feminism conference.
