His flamboyant clothes and androgynous image made him an instant celebrity - but then things began to go wrong. His band, Culture Club, split up and by 1986 the singer was hooked on heroin. That could have been the end of his story, but it wasn't because George beat his addiction and, at 32, is back on top. Now more man than Boy, George himself, his parents and friends talk frankly about his career, his sexuality, his drug experiences and the new-found stability which his religion and new lifestyle have brought him. Filmed against a background of a trip to America, Omnibus reveals a funny, complex, sensitive survivor.
