Don on a rope and a sling connected to the helicopter approaches the jumper who has now changed his mind about jumping but is to afraid to get down.Don carefully places the man in the sling as Gil lowers the two men to the ground and safety. Later, at the Doyle mansion, Steven Dolye a successful surgeon is finishing his breakfast. His eighteen-year-old daughter, Jennifer leaves for school. Jennifer is kidnapped by Marklund and who with his partner Brandt drive away in a Parkside Dry Cleaning van. Later at night Captain McKeegan waits with Steven Doyle at the mansion. Marklund calls on the phone and demands $200,000 for Jennifer's return. Marklund knows the Police are monitoring the call tells them to deliver the ransom by 4pm tomorrow in a helicopter. Steven Doyle intends to pay as he explains that Jennifer is all he has since her mother died. Sergeant Saunders explains that the ransom instructions were
