Apparently, the burglar stabbed Jack 13 times before fleeing without taking a single item. Dr Raynes also tells Alexander that Jack was the third of the four members of the parole board that Alexander and Sharon once served on has been murdered and that Alexander is next. Alexander sends the team to investigate into these murders and protect Alexander as he plans to attends Jack's funeral.
