In Egypt, Abel tells Nadja that Collette met archeologist Edward Harrison at a dance and she decides to look for him. She discovers that the late Professor Harrison was Christian's mentor and told him about the ring in Nadja's brooch and how the Premingers got it when Collette married into the family. Vienna is chosen as the troupe's next destination, and after Kennosuke is rescued from an underground crypt they perform for his rescuers.
