Discouraged, Nadja sees an advertisement for a John Whittard piano recital. After the concert, Nadja tells John what has happened; he gives her sheet music for her favorite lullaby (signed by her father, Raymond Colville) and brings her to Raymond's former music teacher (who gives her information about, and a photograph of, her father).
