As she remembers the other times she saw strange visions while in the lake, she suddenly sees a vision showing a journey down a river into the Eastern Forest, and a voice telling her to come. That night, she tells the others about her desire to go there, and Howard and Bell volunteer to join her. Bell and Luna build a raft out of bamboo, while Howard makes a bow. Shingo and Menori are working the field, until Shingo suddenly collapses. They leave him to rest in the shade of the Magnificent Tree, and he sits starting at a photo of his family.
