Di più To celebrate 65 years since HM the Queen's coronation, Countryfile has been given unprecedented access to the Queen's Balmoral estate. Matt Baker is at Glamis Castle, the family home of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the Queen Mother, where the Queen spent many happy childhood holidays. Ellie Harrison is exploring the woodland on the Balmoral estate and seeing how conservation projects introduced by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are encouraging wildlife. Anita Rani is on the Western Isles where the royal family would travel on board the Royal Yacht Britannia. Anita alights on the Isle of Ghiga where the Queen once made an unannounced visit which the locals still remember today. Adam is back on the Balmoral estate meeting the stockman who looks after the Queen's herd of Highland Cattle and checks out one of the Queen's favourite bulls; Smurf. Adam catches up with the head of the Balmoral stud to see how the Queen is preserving the bloodline of the estate's Highland ponies. Ellie Harrison joins Balmoral's head deer stalker as they go out and about on the estate. Matt Baker is at one of the bothies on the estate and hears about the royal family's taste for dining outdoors and sees the barbecue designed by the Duke of Edinburgh.
