Mais A) Franny travels to northern Scandinavia, where she meets a young reindeer named Romper, who wishes he were bigger, and had antlers like his dad. Franny tries to help Romper by putting branches on his head to look like antlers. When a baby hare ends up trapped in a small hole, only Romper is small enough to rescue it. Romper and Franny learn that being a grown-up is nice, but you're never too small to be a big help. B) Franny travels to the mountains where she meets Adam, a boy who's camping with his older brother. Adam wants to be a good camper like his brother, but can't seem to do anything right. His fire logs collapse, and he accidentally leaves the picnic food out for the ants. But when the tent blows down, and the flashlight runs out of batteries, Adam's creative thinking saves the day - and he realizes that he's an excellent camper after all.
