The serpents flee on seeing Garuda. Shri Ram and Lakshman arise, radiant as before. Shri Ram express his indebtedness to the great bird. Ravan and Indrajit are shocked to learn that Garuda freed Shri Ram and Lakshman from the serpent darts.
