Her husband Jasper has already confessed to the murder and is on remand. An apparently easy case awaiting Commissioner Winnie Heller, who was transferred from Cologne to her hometown Wiesbaden. The transfer not only gives her a professional reorientation, but also the opportunity to be close to her sister Elli, who has been in a coma since a car accident. Winnie's colleague Hendrik Verhoeven is anything but enthusiastic about the new Commissioner who is being put in front of his nose, and their first meeting is not exactly harmonious either. Verhoeven wants to put the case to the files quickly, especially since a stranger is up to mischief in Wiesbaden, kidnaps young girls and keeps them prisoner at home.
