We meet 22-year-old philosophy student Kaat Cremer and her father Patrick, who has his own advertising agency. In the first episode, the divorced father and his daughter move in with Veronique, Patrick's new girlfriend, and her son Sam. Both live in a loft on the Turnhoutsebaan in Borgerhout. In and around the loft the characters experience the ordinary things of life: falling in love, quarrels, difficult relationships, adolescent ailments, and so on.
