Meanwhile, Daniel, the chairman of a luxury jewelry brand called Tifone, visits Korea unexpectedly. It’s up to Jung Sun to secure a contract with Tifone, despite Myungil Department Store’s interference. While assisting Daniel on his tour around Seoul, Jung Sun receives a call about her mom’s test results from the hospital. She and Sung Jun hear from the doctor that the tests show a tumor in her mom’s stomach. Meanwhile, Daniel invites Jung Sun and Yu Ri to dinner to show his appreciation for their hospitality. However, Jung Sun overhears Daniel’s girlfriend Leah saying something quite startling.
