One day, while paddling, she was shot in the heart by a man driving a speedboat. Mélissa Sainte-Rose and her assistant Gaëlle Crivelli are in charge of the investigation. They discover that Johanna Eckert was the victim of repeated attacks by members of Ti Manmay, a pro-life association fiercely opposed to the right to abortion.
