Mais 14-year-old Talia surprised a murderer shortly after his deed and thus becomes the most important witness for commissioners Winkler and Gorniak. Unfortunately, the teenager can no longer remember anything, because Talia has developed a psychological self-protection since her mother's accidental death seven years ago: If she sees something that overwhelms her emotionally, her consciousness represses what she sees and changes it into a fictional reality that seems less horrible to her. Since then she has also tended to parasomnia: sleepwalking. While Gorniak and Schnabel try to follow all the other traces, Talia begins to trust Winkler and lead the commissioner into "her world".
