At school, this woman, Kaho Mizuki, is introduced as the class' substitute maths teacher. Syaoran becomes suspicious of Ms. Mizuki, who he senses has strong magical powers. While at the local shrine, Sakura and her friends are trapped within the walls of the Maze Card. They are unable to escape, and Meiling is separated from the others. However, they are rescued by Ms. Mizuki using a magical bell. Sakura catches the Maze Card. Toya appears to find Sakura but is disturbed when he recognizes Ms. Mizuki.
