At the age of 18, Nakagawa Arisu (Haruka Fukuhara) is determined to go to university and live alone away from his father, Ichiro (Akira Yasuda), with the dream of becoming a museum curator and one day becoming a curator who can work overseas, under the influence of his beloved late mother. However, on the day of her high school graduation, Arisu learns that she is unexpectedly pregnant.
