His wife, Loretta, still believes he's innocent, so Frank agrees to look into it. He starts by visiting the prison psychiatrist. Meanwhile, she visits her brother-in-law, Jerry, who refuses to lend her a gun. She takes it anyway. Jerry tells Frank, who returns to the prison to see if Danzig's amnesia had lifted.
