Mais Mr. Mxyzptlk arrives on Earth from the fifth dimension and uses his magic to create chaos at an amusement park. Superman rescues the people in danger and meets Mr. Mxyzptlk who tells him that the only way to get rid of him is to make him say his name backwards. Since Mr. Mxyzptlk doesn't want to leave, Superman has to trick him. Eventually he succeeds and the troublesome imp is sent back to his home dimension.
