Eddie and his pals try to join a hip group of Birdz called 'The Kildares', but are rejecte... Mais Eddie and his pals try to join a hip group of Birdz called 'The Kildares', but are rejected. This leads them to start their own, comedy-based club, 'The Loons'. Sleepy, Tommy and Gregory vote to keep the club small, but Eddie wants it to outnumber the Kildares. Holding a membership drive, the club is swamped by a hoard of wannabes doing comedy shtick, and the boys have a falling out. This gets Eddie noticed by the Kildares, who agree to let him join their club - if he can beat their leader in a flying test! Eddie out-flies the top Kildare, but rejects the group entirely, opting to rejoin his pals instead. Eddie realizes that you don't have to belong to any club to feel like you're part of something special.
